Admissions

Admissions Process

Admission process for the next academic year usually open in November of the previous year, while admissions for the current academic year can be accepted in term 1 and term 2. Doha British School is a very popular international school and places are sometimes difficult to access. Priority is given to siblings of current students, however all applicants must be assessed in order to determine ability to access the curriculum, as well as English language skills.

For more information on how our school admission process works in Qatar, follow these steps

Step 1
Please read the Admissions Policy thoroughly.
Step 2
Complete the Admission and Medical Form and return it to the Admission Office, along with all required documents, including acknowledgement that the Admissions Policy has been read. Failure to do so will result in your child's application not being processed.
Step 3

Step 4
After review of application, children may be invited to attend a formal assessment, either in a group or individually (non-refundable assessment fee is payable). The results of these assessments are the property of the school and places will be allocated at the discretion of the Principal.

YEARS 1 AND 2
Children will be assessed by the key Stage 1 Leader with an age-appropriate test.
YEARS 3 TO 9
