What's Happening at DBS

To the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance”, Doha British School (DBS) staged a grand event to honor and recognize the graduands of SY 2019-2020, except that our hall was filled with people – virtually.

 

Held last 17 June 2020, the Virtual Graduation Ceremony was hosted live via Zoom by Kerry Rose Walton, head of Sixth Form. The event saw the graduands dressed in their graduation gowns and caps, and together with their families and friends, watched the live broadcast of the online graduation ceremony.

 

The event was a huge success with an online attendance of almost 250. In the end, all the graduands had their moment as a tribute video was made to commemorate their graduation at the time of Covid-19.
