Doha British School organised a special Umrah trip, providing students with the opportunity to perform the Umrah rituals and visit several religious and historical landmarks in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. The trip aimed to strengthen students’ religious awareness, instil noble Islamic values, and deepen their understanding of the history and significance of these sacred places within their religious and cultural heritage.
This initiative also came as part of promoting national identity and reinforcing values aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030, by nurturing a generation that is aware of its faith, proud of its identity, and responsible towards its community and nation.
قامت مدرسة الدوحة البريطانية بتنظيم رحلة عمرة مميزة، حيث أتيحت للطلاب فرصة أداء مناسك العمرة وزيارة عدد من المعالم الدينية والتاريخية في مدينتي مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة. وقد هدفت هذه الرحلة إلى تعزيز الوازع الديني لدى الطلاب وغرس القيم الإسلامية السامية في نفوسهم، إضافةً إلى تعريفهم بتاريخ الأماكن المقدسة وأهميتها في تراثنا الديني والحضاري.
كما جاءت هذه المبادرة في إطار تعزيز الهوية الوطنية وترسيخ القيم التي تنسجم مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، من خلال بناء جيلٍ واعٍ بدينه، معتزٍ بهويته، ومسؤولٍ تجاه مجتمعه ووطنه.
