SCHOOL DAY

A typical school day starts at 7:00 am for all primary and secondary students. School operates from Sunday through to Thursday, with sport fixtures and whole school events that may take place on Friday or Saturday.

EARLY YEARS
(PRE-SCHOOL AND RECEPTION)

7:00am to 12.45pm

Gates open at 6.45am and classroom doors are opened at 7am for registration. For working parents, Breakfast Club is available before school from 6.30am. After a full day of structured play and 2 breaks, classes finish at 12.45pm. After school crèche is available until 1.30pm. External providers such as BH Gymnastics, Future Sports Academy, International Centre for Music and Hamilton Aquatics offer after school and weekend activities on site.

PRIMARY
(YEAR 1 to YEAR 6)

7:00am to 1.30pm

Gates open at 6.45am for parents to drop children in Year 1 and Year 2 at the MPH, while Year 3 to Year 6 students are dropped off at school gates, after which they make their way to the field. For working parents, Breakfast Club is available before school from 6.30am. Classes assemble in their designated area and make their way to classrooms at 7am for registration. Current parents can view their child’s weekly schedule, including times and specialist teachers’ details, via the Parent Portal.  Pupils who choose to participate in Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) finish at 2.30pm or 3.15pm, depending on the term ECA schedule.

SECONDARY
(YEAR 7 TO YEAR 11)

7:00am to 1.30pm

Students are able to access the school grounds after 6.45am and gather in the main field at the start of the day. The whistle blows at 7.05am, signaling learners to move to their form rooms. Break time is 9.30am to 9.50am and lunch is from 11.50am until 12.30pm. School finishes at 1.30pm and are supervised until collected. Students who choose to participate in Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) finish at 2.30pm or 3.15pm, depending on the term ECA schedule. Current parents can view their child’s weekly schedule, including times and subject teachers’ details, via the Parent Portal.
