Model United Nations (MUN)
At DBS Rawdat Al Hamama, our Model United Nations (MUN) programme offers students an engaging platform to explore global issues, develop leadership skills, and gain a deeper understanding of international relations.
MUN is a simulation of the United Nations, where students take on the roles of delegates representing different member states. They debate, negotiate, and collaborate to find solutions to real-world challenges — from climate change and human rights to global security and economic development.
This hands-on learning experience builds key skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, research, and diplomacy, while encouraging students to appreciate diverse perspectives and the importance of peaceful dialogue.
Through participation in MUN, DBS students grow into confident, informed global citizens — ready to engage thoughtfully with the world around them and lead with integrity and respect. Students also participate in a wide range of MUN conferences held both in Qatar and internationally, representing the school with pride and distinction.
