Students at Doha British School Al Wakra have presented during assemblies about this year’s exciting #calltoearth . The focus is on ‘Our Connected Generations’ which involves finding out about how previous generations displayed acts of sustainability. In the Middle East, water is a precious resource and special techniques were used to find and use water in sustainable ways. On Wednesday 4th December, students will be holding interviews where they will be asking parents, and teachers, what do they know about sustainability and how they participated when they were younger.

As part of our support for Qatar Sustainability Week, Friends of DBS helped organise a clothes recycling station where parents and students could donate any lightly worn items.
This initiative was a huge success with almost 1000 individual pieces of clothing collected! DBS Wakra is committed to doing its part to contribute to the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The AI Summer Camp Students Showcase was an outstanding day filled with inspiration. From engaging workshops to brilliant student projects, these young innovators delved deep into Python, machine learning, and NLP, culminating in impressive projects like exoplanet detection and music recommendation systems.
