At DBS Al Wakra pupils in KS3 have the opportunity to participate in Middle School Model United Nations, Qatar. This academic club has students take on the role of a specific country, research a specific international issue, and take part in debates and simulations.

This is a fantastic opportunity and a great chance for pupils to experience MUN. Model United Nations has a proud and long history. It gives students an opportunity to learn about the international community and to interact with students who have similar interests.

Students learn and use a wide variety of skills including researching and using critical analysis. Students can also use their new public speaking and negotiation skills.
