I am delighted to have been appointed as Principal of DBS Al Wakra from the 2024-2025 academic year. This is an especially exciting time for the school, with the imminent opening of our new campus next academic year. Our commitment to upholding our vision remains unwavering at DBS Al Wakra and indeed across all three DBS campuses: to create a vibrant, welcoming international school community that provides a first-class education, enabling students to thrive in a dynamic, global environment.

Our dedicated and highly qualified teachers are committed to providing personalised learning experiences that cater to the individual needs of each student. I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Acting Head of Primary at Doha British School, Al Wakra. Having worked at our previous campus for the past two years, I am excited to lead our school into a new era. My aim is to blend the best elements of our former school with the outstanding features of our new campus, ensuring a seamless and enriching educational experience for all.

I am genuinely proud of the exceptional team of teachers we have assembled, and I am confident that their dedication and expertise will bring out the very best in our students. The environment we have created is one of excellence, both academically and socially, and I am eager to see our students thrive in this supportive and inspiring setting.

We can't wait to welcome both new and returning students to our incredible new school campus, where we will continue to foster a community of learning, growth, and achievement.

Welcome to Doha British School Al Wakra!

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the newly appointed Head of Secondary School. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of serving as Deputy Head at Doha British School Ain Khaled, and I am both honoured and excited to now take on this new role at our Al Wakra campus.

Our new campus is a truly remarkable facility, designed to provide an exceptional learning environment that will inspire and empower our students. The building itself is impressive, with innovative learning spaces, and facilities that will support a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities. I can hardly wait to see these spaces come to life with the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm of our students.

I believe that our strength lies in our shared commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and inclusivity. As we look to the future, I am confident that, together, we will build on the strong foundations already in place and take DBS Al Wakra from strength to strength.

In this new chapter, my focus will be on ensuring that every student receives the support, challenge, and encouragement they need to thrive. Whether it is through academic achievement, personal development, or participation in our wide range of extracurricular activities, I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to working closely with students, parents, and staff to make DBS Al Wakra an even more vibrant and dynamic community. Together, we will create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.
